Partner with us on MUTTI’s future plans
MUTTI, Australia’s first permanent human rights museum, will be a beacon of social, environmental, and economic sustainability. It will not only showcase Australian creativity but also provide life skills, housing and employment opportunities for marginalised communities. Our museum will elevate conversations around human rights while amplifying the creative talents and leadership of those whose voices have been historically silenced and undervalued. Creating Australia’s first Human Rights Museum requires funding for operational costs to ensure MUTTI secures staff members with specialist skills that can drive this vision under the direction of our strong cohesive board.
“I have envisioned this museum as a space without boundaries. A place where inclusivity, creativity, and inspiration come together in perfect harmony. Designed for all, it welcomes every community, every culture, every age, and every ability. Here, accessibility is not an afterthought but a guiding principle, ensuring that everyone can explore, create, and connect freely. My design is inspired by the intricate beauty of nature and the fluid elegance of modern architecture. The seamless flow of space, light, and movement defines the experience, while coloured glass brings life to the surroundings, casting ever-changing reflections that celebrate diversity and transformation. The aesthetic is not just visual but experiential; a place that invites people to engage, discover, and be inspired. This museum is more than a structure; it is a living, breathing environment where artists teach, performers inspire, and learners discover. Theatres and concert halls become platforms for expression, outdoor cinemas bring storytelling to life under the stars, and underground workshops cultivate ideas that push the boundaries of creativity. Every element has been designed to encourage collaboration, exchange, and innovation. As a designer, I believe that architecture should inspire, empower, and connect. This museum is a reflection of that vision, a place where tradition and modernity intertwine, where knowledge is shared, and where inspiration is limitless. I want every visitor to leave feeling enriched, motivated, and part of something greater.”
